EMERGENCY Services are dealing with a chemical incident at Dalcross Industrial Estate,
Inverness.
Emergency services attended, following a report at 16:10 this afternoon (26 January) of a suspected leak of ammonia from a premises on the industrial estate. A 200m cordon has been put in place and Highlands and Islands Fire and Rescue Service have contained the small ammonia spillage.
One casualty affected by the ammonia has attended A&E at Raigmore Hospital for treatment for the affects.
The road from Ardersier to the Airport is currently closed and the entrance to the Industrial Estate is closed. The main entrance to the airport is however open via the A96.
People are advised to stay away from the immediate area at this time.
